… and it tastes just like Panera’s — without the cost.
You know how some things just taste better when someone else makes them? Salads are the worst offender for me. I’d come home inspired, throw together what seemed like the exact same ingredients, and somehow end up with something flat and forgettable. Not bad. Just… blah. And it’s hard to explain why!
So when this one worked — really worked — I had to share it.
We’ve been leaning into a semi-Mediterranean diet lately, and honestly, it is perfectly amazing. We love vegetables. We love bold, fresh flavors. Mediterranean food checks every box. And this Greek salad? It’s become a favorite — my favorite.
The secret weapon is the olives and Ken’s Steakhouse Greek dressing. I used DeLallo Marinated Pitted Olives Jubilee — a mix of Kalamata, Niçoise, Picholine, and green olives — and they bring so much flavor to the whole bowl. Don’t skip them, don’t substitute them. They’re doing the heavy lifting here.
Everything else comes together simply: crisp lettuce, cucumbers, red onion, tomatoes, feta cheese, banana peppers (I forgot them in my photo — do as I say, not as I do), and the Ken’s Steakhouse Greek dressing to tie it all together.
Mix it all up and you’ve got a salad that, for me, tastes exactly like Panera’s Greek salad — without leaving the house or spending the money.
That’s a win I’ll take every single time.
